We’re spoiled. We have a Keurig K75 Platinum.

We’re spoiled. We have a Keurig K75 Platinum.

G@H: Keurig K75 Platinum

We used to have a fine, ordinary coffeemaker. It was a 12 cup. It was programmable. It even looked nice—brushed metal. But, we only used it on weekends. Mornings before work, the process just seemed like a hassle. Cleaning the filter. Grinding the beans. Waiting for it to brew. Yes, we’re soft, especially in the morning, especially until we’ve had our coffee.

G@H: Keurig K75 PlatinumThe Keurig revolution is well upon America. We’re late because we resisted. We thought it was wasteful. We thought it was expensive. We coveted the idea of grinding our own beans. But then, because our workplace served dreadful coffee, we secured a Keurig K10 MINI Plus for the office. That contraption made work better. It brewed a strong, rousing cup of coffee. Yeah, the coffee costs more per cup—considerably more—but it tasted extraordinary.

This tale unfolds predictably. We yearned to bring that experience home. We rationalized that if we had our first cup before we left for work, we’d be more productive once we arrived. That’d help us win friends and influence people. We’d get promoted. We’d make partner. A life of fulfillment, success and comfort would ensue.

So, we got a G@H: Archer Farms coffee for the Keurig

The Keurig Platinum brews in five sizes. You can program it to turn on and off. Its reservoir holds 72 ounces of water, which runs through a filter before it pours into your cup. Of course, what makes a Keurig a Keurig is its speed and ease. Once the machine is on, a cup brews in seconds. You can enjoy one variety. Your roommates, friends, or guests aren’t married to the same flavor.

You, like us, may own a fine coffee maker. If you enjoy and have time for the process, stick with it. But, for us, the Keurig Platinum makes for a happier morning. Spoil yourself.
