This garlic sauce is the boss

This garlic sauce is the boss

Wow. That’s easily the lamest headline ever run on G@H. Bravo to all the gentlemanly “geniuses” involved in its creation.

But, hey, it’s summer. Who’s got time for crafting catchy headlines? Not us. We’re outside. We’re doing fun stuff like hiking and grilling and swimming. We’re also watching our professional baseball team—the Kansas City Royals—dominate the American League.

Our schedule doesn’t always accommodate from scratch cooking. Sometimes, we need a quick meal. That’s why we bought this Many Clove Garlic Cooking and Simmer Sauce from Trader Joe’s. We browned some chicken breast in a gorgeous Aurora saute pan from Zwilling J.A. Henckel. We dumped in the sauce and let it simmer for 20 minutes. We served the chicken and sauce over a bed of polenta. And, to show off, we topped it all with a fried egg.

It was as delicious as delicious gets with 25 minutes of start-to-finish preparation.
