We're obsessed with barrel-aged soy sauce. Almost every Sunday, we prepare this simple omelet with soy sauce, sriracha, scallions, etc.

This chocolate walnut waffle—or as we’ve dubbed it “choc-affle”—was decadent and paired well with our homemade strawberry balsamic syrup.

Sunday has been designated “Waffle Day.” Today, though, savory took its turn. We made sharp cheddar cornmeal waffles with fresh parsley.

We whipped up these vanilla almond waffles with a peach compote. Scrumptious. Maybe, we’ll transition to writing exclusively about waffles.

At G@H, we try biting off an amount proportionate to what we can chew. That’s why we only learn one new dish at a time. Currently, it’s steak au poivre. French. Pretty fancy, we know.
