If you ever listen to one thing we say: make this guacamole

If you ever listen to one thing we say: make this guacamole

You’re your own man. We get it. You’ve got to blaze your own trail. You’re certainly not going listen to some foolish website telling you what you should do and how you should do it. We admire your tenacity. And, your independence. But, calm down for a hot second, and make this spicy guacamole because it’s incredible.

G@H’s Spicy Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados, peeled, de-pitted
  • A Roma tomato, quartered
  • 1/4 of a red onion
  • A hot pepper of your preferred heat
  • 2 Tablespoons of lime juice
  • 1 Tablespoon of olive oil
  • Kosher salt, to taste

Directions

Place the hot pepper covered with olive oil in a small bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. This infuses the spice into the oil. Add onion, hot pepper, olive oil, lime juice, and salt into a food processor or chopper. (We use the KitchenAid 3.5-cup Food Chopper). Chop them finely. Toss in the avocados and the Roma tomato. Pulse to desired consistency. We like our guacamole chucky.

Here’s a pro tip: if you aren’t eating it all immediately, placing an avocado pit in the guacamole will keep it green.
