We ordered a pair of these Stacy Adams Cisco Loafers from Amazon because they looked sharp. After receiving them, we can attest that they do look sharp. That’s not to be taken for granted. We acquire most of our shoes online: the photos sometimes deceive but not so here.
More than style, though, we’re impressed by the comfort of these shoes. The internal cushion feels like pillows around our feet. That is, they are soft, much softer than these Baronero Men’s Slip-On Driving Loafers, about which we recently wrote. While we could feel the ground underneath while walking in those, we might as well be strolling atop clouds with these. The cushion hugs our feet, so much so that our feet can get a little hot. Not uncomfortably hot. More cozy. Better for autumn and winter than the dead of summer.
Can you see the inside of the heel? There are colorful pieces of fabric, which serve no utility and are not visible while the shoes are being worn but provide some amount of joy.
The shoes run a tad large. Don’t fret if they fit tightly at first because they will stretch out with wear. They also arrive intentionally tarnished. At first, we spotted a couple markings. We thought they were dirty and considered returning them. Turns out, that was purposeful.
