If you are looking for a recipe for homemade ketchup, then you have come to the right place. Here’s our G@H recipe for Hot Maple Ketchup.
Ketchup is like ice cream. Whoa! What? Tastewise, that’s an absurd statement. It’s rather disgusting to think about both substances at once. One is tangy, the other sweet. One has a tomato base, the other cream.
Both taste best when homemade. Much more importantly, both are entirely customizable. You love peaches? Toss them into your ice cream. You big on heat? Cook fresh jalapenos into your ketchup. Or maple syrup. Or bacon.
Yes, We at G@H make our own ketchup. We’re not hipsters. We instead fancy ourselves artisan gentlemen. We like knowing what goes into our food. We embrace learning new tricks. We enjoy experimenting—a little of this, a little of that, eureka!
We would never purposefully diminish our talents, but we admit that making ketchup is easy. You need a blender. You need a large pot. You need a stove. And, of course, you need Roma tomatoes.
