Avocado is green gold. Everyone knows it tastes great in guacamole. But if you only eat avocado in guacamole, that’s like only eating beef in meatballs. Sure, we love meatballs. But, only a world-class moron limits himself when there is a world of hamburgers, brisket and T-bone steak waiting to be enjoyed.
We stick sliced avocado on our BLTs. We fix avocado toast for breakfast. And, then there’s this dandy of a recipe: Zesty Lime Avocado and Shrimp Salad from skinnytaste.com.
It’s an ideal meal for a sweltering summer night. Fresh. Light. Delicious. We cooked the shrimp in our Sous Vide Supreme and used Late July Organic Tortilla Chips as utencils to scoop up the goodness.
