Last week, we at G@H mounted our pulpit and preached the virtues of fresh basil pesto. We called it simple and beautiful. We raved that basil’s sweet, slightly menthol flavor mixes superbly with rich, buttery olive oil. The mere existence of pesto, we argued, evidences the divine.
Our gospel hopefully stirred a generation of gentleman believers. If it inspired you, welcome to our flock. We have a new recipe for your enjoyment: G@H’s Fresh Basil Pesto Bread.
As lovers of fresh bread, we believe that a bread machine, though not essential, is a handy appliance for the modern bachelor. We own a Zojirushi Home Bakery Virtuoso, but this recipe will work with any bread maker.
