These Baronero Men’s Slip-on Driving Loafers are handsome shoes. They garner a ton of compliments when we wear them. Comfortable and lightweight, they slip on and off with ease. There’s no need to waste your precious time with laces that will invariably come untied. Admittedly, we’re poor at tying laces. Add that to the list of many skills for which we find ourselves lacking.
We at G@H have a thing for bargain shoes. We’ve discussed it ad nauseam here on this website. Unlike many bargain shoes, though, the leather on these is authentic; it doesn’t glisten like cheap plastic. No, no. These shoes are damn attractive. One might even say “chic”, which means, “elegantly and stylishly fashionable.” Or, we might refer to them as “sharp”, which means “(of an object) having an edge or point that is able to cut or pierce something”. Oh, that’s incorrect. How about “(of clothes or their wearer) neat and stylish”? Yes, that’s better.
As nice as the style is, the price outranks it. We paid $34.99 for them. They’re still available for $34.99. You’d be a fool not to buy them; you’ve surely wasted more money on worse things. Should we also get them in white? We’ve never had a pair of white shoes.
There is one warning that we need to impart about these Baronero Men’s Slip-on Driving Loafers. They have thin soles. That is, you can feel the ground underneath while walking with them. This doesn’t bother us wearing them around the office or out to dinner. But, if you need to traipse around the city streets, i.e., the urban jungle, do not opt for these shoes—or buy some insoles for them.
