We consider ourselves knit tie enthusiasts. They are versatile. They provide the means to class things up while keeping it casual. Without looking silly, we can wear a knit tie with jeans or slacks or a suit. You do need to wear pants, though. People who wear ties with shorts should be jailed. It should be a crime.
